You will also leave with the tools to make your own collection of activities that should prove useful at all grade levels.

Introduction to Photography

$20

with Arend Thibodeau

Calendar Mar 3, 2020 at 6 pm, runs for 1 week

What is the rule of thirds? Why are my images boring? Why does my friend take the same picture as I do and her picture looks better? Bring your camera to class and learn how to make a great image rather than simply take a photograph. We will focus on what constitutes a great image and how to think about composition, lighting and subject matter. We will compare and contrast work by contemporary artists in order to understand how to develop our own unique statements as photographers.

Bring your digital camera or portable device with camera to this workshop.
