This class is designed to help student master the knowledge and skills neccesary to pass the HiSET exam. Think you’re the only one who doesn’t know how to divide fractions? Do you dread having to write an essay for the high school equivalency test? Do not be discouraged – we can help!

Join this class, where you will gain new knowledge and skills and have fun at the same time. Online test preparation will also be available.

Students will have the option of participating remotely or in person instruction. Remote learners will still come to SAHS for occasional testing.

Prerequisite: Must complete HiSET 101 prior to starting this class.

Orientation will provide an overview of the HiSET® process and guide participants through intake, assessment, and pre-testing. Workshops on college and career planning, financial literacy, and technology skills (all essential skills for success at college and in the workplace) will be provided.

Attendance at orientation classes is mandatory.

At the end of orientation, students will be referred to final HiSET® testing or scheduled for additional academic help.

Students must present a valid photo id and social security card at the first class.
