Youth Mental Health First Aid (MHFA)
with Brittney Dunphy
Youth MHFA teaches adults how to identify, understand and respond to signs of common mental health and substance use challenges among children and adolescents ages 12-18. This training looks at how to interact with a child or adolescent in crisis, how to connect a youth with help, and more.
Because the class extends through lunch time, please bring snacks and lunch. There will be a 10-minute break in the morning and afternoon, as well as a 30-minute lunch.
Brittney is a Certified by the National Council for Mental Welbeing.
